Katarzyna Starosławska is an expert in data and artificial intelligence with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of technology, strategy, and innovation. She advises management teams, public institutions, and European Union bodies on building digital competencies and responsibly implementing digital solutions at the national and European levels. She supports organizations in designing and implementing data-driven strategies, ensuring that solutions are not only technically sound, but also ethically applied and aligned with business objectives, regulations, and user needs. Her mission is to transform data into practical insights and lasting value through interoperability, data quality, and cross-sector collaboration.
She currently holds the following positions:
- Vice President of the Board at the SpeakLeash Foundation and Bielik.ai,
- Member of the expert group on the Next Generation European Interoperability Framework (EIF) at the European Commission,
- Senior HCP & AI Specialist – Euro HCP/Lumi Ai Factory, Academic Computer Center Cyfronet AGH,
- Leader of the Data for AI stream and member of the AI in Public Administration group within the AI Working Groups (GRAI) at the Ministry of Digital Affairs,
- Member of the working group on Public-Private Partnerships at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy,
- Member of the working group on IT and mHealth in clinical trials at the Polish Association for Good Clinical Practice (GCPpl),
- External expert for the Medical Research Agency, EIT Health, the REINFORCING project, NCP_WIDERA.NET, and the European Commission.
She is also a frequent speaker, panelist, and conference moderator, and conducts workshops on the use of data and artificial intelligence in innovation, development, and building competitive advantage.
